Palestinian Airlines in its first ever flight took-off from Al-Arish Airport and landed in Damascus International Airport, on Sat. 25 Aug. 2001, carrying a high-ranking Palestinian Official, including Palestinian Airlines Chairman & Director General Mr. Fayez Zaidan who has exchanged views with the Syrian Civil Aviation Officials in order to conclude commercial and bilateral Agreements, paving the way to operate schedule flights between Palestine and Syria soon.
